Q - How long will my order take?
A - Most orders received by 2:00 p.m.
MST are shipped the same day from our Colorado location. For delivery times from our Colorado location via UPS Ground Service, click here. We always do our very best to get your order to you quickly. Orders placed by U.S. Mail and paid by check will take additional time. Call us toll-free in the U.S. (866)469-5454 to order with VISA/MC/AMEX/DISCOVER.
Q - Why do I need to set up an account?
A - So many people are frightened by that word, it amazes us. There is no account. We simply need a name and address for shipping, a way to communicate any problems to you, and a way for you to check the status of your orders. Any credit card info entered at checkout is removed from the database upon completion, even though it is secured. We never send unsolicited emails or advertising, nor sell your information to anyone.
Q - Do you ship overseas?
A - Yes, we ship World-Wide!
Foreign buyers should choose the 'Table Rate' for shipping at checkout. We will email the actual shipping and merchandise cost. At that time you may choose to complete the transaction or cancel the order.
To cover our costs and protect ourselves, these conditions must be met:
- All overseas shipments will be sent by USPS Express or Priority Mail, which is paid for by the buyer. After placing your order, we will contact you with the additional costs of shipping your order which must be paid before we release it. In addition, foreign buyers agree to pay our processor's currency conversion rates and administrative fees.
- The buyer is responsible for all foreign duties, taxes and tariffs, if any.
- Foreign buyers must provide a telephone number for inclusion on the Customs and delivery forms.

We have had great success when these conditions are met. We will provide USPS Tracking
info which the buyer can follow through the US Postal System to the
port of entry in their own country.
Our shipping costs are actual costs plus a small amount for boxes,
packing, etc. Note that certain items are forbidden to import to certain
countries. (No straw hats to Ireland, for example.) Check your local regulations
before ordering please. We do not ship our replica firearms outside the
U.S.
Stateside, we ship UPS Ground or USPS Priority Mail except in extreme cases to save you
money. We will ship Priority Mail, Express Mail, UPS 2nd Day Air or Next Day Air Saver at your request and expense.
We do not suggest overnight shipping as the costs often exceed the value
of the goods being ordered.
Expect an email from UPS or USPS with your tracking number and estimated date of delivery.
Please Note: Shipping large items (like sombreros) faster than Ground Service will incur dimensional weight charges when shipped faster than Ground Service.
While we may have covered some of these additional expenses in the past, we can no longer bear the extra cost with rising rates. Even the Postal Service has gone to dimensional weight. By ordering faster shipping, you agree to pay the actual amount.
Q - What's your return policy?
A - You may return any unused purchase, complete with tags and
original packing for replacement or exchange within 10 days at your expense.
Special Purchases over our normal stock levels and Closeouts excepted. All returns are subject to a 15% restocking/reshipping fee. There are no refunds offered. If your package arrives with visible damage,
you can refuse it immediately. Just let us know so we can get a replacement out to you at once! We can not refund nor credit shipping expenses, including duties, tariffs and foreign taxes. Please note, we are very wary of returns around Halloween, New Year's and Cinco de Mayo. We carefully inspect each item returned for evidence that it was worn. This is for your benefit as a buyer. Please call first to obtain a Return Authorization. Sombreros, ponchos, and other costume items can not be returned.
Q - I placed an order but didn't receive an email?
A - We are great communicators, but we NEVER send SPAM or unsolicited advertising of any kind. When we do send email to you, it is regarding an order you placed, or in response to an enquiry you sent us. Please add us to your email favorites list. If you placed an order and did not hear from us, please check your junk mail folder and settings. You should receive an Order Confirmation from us immediately, and a Tracking Notification from UPS or USPS when shipped.Also, some people don't click on the 'Confirm Order' button at the end of the ordering process. If you failed to do that, we would never receive your order. Log in again and you should find the items still in your shopping cart.
Q - I can't complete checkout when it gets to the shipping section?
A - We have seen the UPS server overly busy at times which prevents obtaining a shipping quote for an order. Please return to the shopping cart and try checkout again.
Q - I received a different item than I ordered?
A - We do our best to ship what you
ordered. Due to the uniqueness of handmade items, yours
may look slightly different than the photo on the website. We occasionally
will ship a substitute item of equal or greater value
for our customers with a short deadline for a special event. If the
substitute is not acceptable, kindly return it to us for exchange of
the item originally ordered when it is available. Most likely, you'll
want to keep the more expensive substitute.
Q - I want to send a gift. Do you include pricing?
A - We do not send pricing information when the order is sent to a different name, regardless of the address. We do include an invoice with pricing information when the order is sent to the same name as the person ordering, regardless of the address.
Also, we can include a note from you. Just ask in the comments section at the end of the order process.
Q - Is there a minimum order?
A - No, but shipping costs are proportionately higher for orders
under $25.00.
Q - I saw something here yesterday and now I can't find it?
A - We work diligently to maintain the website. We hate selling things we do not have on hand, so we do our best to keep the website current. The item apparently sold out.
Q - Do you protect my personal information?
A - Absolutely! Our privacy policy is stated here.
Q - Do you sell wholesale?
A - No. And shame on any wholesaler who sells to the general public! We do discount large quantity purchases however.
Q - Can your firearm replicas be modified
to fire?
A - No. We sell only replicas for display and collectors' use.
Modification of our offerings are dangerous and illegal.
Q - Do you ship firearm replicas?
A - Only within the U.S. It is up to the purchaser to be aware
of and comply with local and state laws in their own area however. In California, for example, a display plaque must accompany a replica gun purchased. Please order accordingly.
Q - My blanket (or rug or poncho) isn't
the same size as stated?
A - We publish the manufacturer's described sizes, or correct them when the average changes.
Q - My hoodie fell apart in the washer
A - Most of the Mexican textiles we sell are handmade or handwoven. We suggest hand washing or using the gentle cycle of the washer and drip-drying. Treat as you would a sweater Grandma made for you! Mexican yarns are not spun as tightly as we are accustomed to. Also, we may have lost our familiarity with handwoven articles. Treat them gently.
Q - What hat size are the sombreros?
A -
Unlike American hat sizing, most sombreros are made with a tapered
crown which will fit most adults. Some will wear them higher, some
lower, but they fit most everyone up to size 7-3/8. A few of our
high-end palm sombreros are made by head size and you can order the
same as American hats.
