Our Current Store Hours: Mon-Fri 9:00 am - 5:00 pm MDT.

Latham Trading dot com was started in 2003 very near the original site of Latham - the stagestop on the Overland Trail, thus the name was fitting. As the website business grew, it became obvious it was time to open a store. We initially chose downtown Loveland for its demographics, economy and historic buildings. In fact, the building we first moved into was built in 1884 and once housed an opera house on the floor above. The landlord is a distant relative of Wild Bill Hickok and I have no doubt that Wild Bill himself may have visited there. Other Old West celebrities may have also made a stop in town, including Wyatt Earp and Doc Holliday.

As we learned more about what you want, the store and website inventory changed dramatically. We even started a new spinoff website at OldWestReplicas.com. Sales grew rapidly, and we found ourselves wanting to offer more, but we needed more space to do that. We moved into a 2000 square foot store in beautiful Estes Park at the foot of Rocky Mountain National Park. While we loved the scenery and wildlife, the seasonal nature of the area drove us back home. In November, 2006 Latham Trading Post and Old West Replicas moved into a store close to the original site of Latham in downtown Greeley, Colorado.

Sit back and have a gander as we offer a glimpse inside Latham Trading Post. If you're in the area, please stop in to say 'Hi' and grab some great bargains, too. And ya know? It wouldn't be a trading post if we didn't make trades. We'd be glad to look at your handmade western and Indian crafts and maybe trade!

Greeley Stinks. It really does, with the beef plant and supporting feedlots. It's also not the best for our business, apparently.
We're looking for a new home when our lease expires in late 2009.

Tell us why we should move to your town!
Be sure to include climate information and any supporting business statistics.
There's gotta be a better home for our Western / Southwestern / South-of-the-border mix!
